In the Pongal Festival all the new and old son-in-laws will come to father-in-laws house. In that occassion this Natu Kodi Pulusu and Vada will be prepared compulsorily in your Andhra homes. My grand mother used to prepare this curry specially for my dad. Natu kodi means " Village Chicken" in English. Compared to the broiler this chicken has the unique and strong flavor. When you make this curry smell of it will reach all the houses at your street. She used to prepare this curry in mud pots and they are known as "Matti Kundalu" in our regional language Telugu. The curry cooked in these pots makes this curry even more flavorful. This curry is specially prepared in the villages for "Sankrathi". Sankrathi is the Harvest festival celebrated in some parts of India. Its taste is so spicy and delicious... Of course this desi chicken will be cooked take time... But taste mmmmhhhhh!!!!! no words to share here try this eat this enjoy the taste....

Ingredients :-

  • Desi Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Curd 1/4 cup
  • Onions 2 (paste)
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 12 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 4 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds powder 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds paste 3
  • Tamarind puree 1/6 cup
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add chicken pieces, salt, turmeric powder, curd, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder and mix it well for and then marinated it for 20 minutes...
  2. And then take a cooker add marinated chicken pieces and mix it well for, then close it, and boil it for 4 vissels to cook then switch off the gas.....
  3. Now take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add ginger garlic paste, onion paste fry it for red color.
  4. When the onion paste is fried, then take a bowl add garam masala powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, water 1/4 glass mix it well.....
  5. Onion paste is fried, then add this spicy paste in to this onion paste and mix it well for. Then add 1 glass water also add mix it well...
  6. And then add poppy seeds paste, and mix it well for... Then put the lid and boil it for one boil. When the water is boiled then add boiled chicken pieces also to cook for 5 minute.
  7. After 5 minutes, then add tamarind puree water mix it well and then again cook it for 10 more minutes in medium flame. When the chicken is totally boiled then add chopped coriander powder and then move it a side...

Sooji Flour with Wheat Halwa Recipe How to Prepare

   Hi friends, today recipe is "Wheat Sooji Halwa"... Wheat halwa is served mostly in marriages in Tamil nadu and more over it is a basic sweet in sweet stalls. Soft and sweet halwa tastes awesome when served fresh and hot. A favourite sweet for all ages. Try this south Indian regional sweet (Godhuma Pindi Rava Halwa) Wheat Sojji Halwa....  I have already post the recipe for Soojji  halwa. Today I give another procedure for making the halwa. Unlike the other recipe, this is very simple and you will never go wrong in making the halwa. Of course the earlier one tastes awesome, but this one also taste good. There is no much pre preparation for this procedure. I could relate the texture to kesari, so may be it’s named so. I love the south Indian wheat halwa, I recently tried... This north Indian atta halwa I will be add south Indian style also I added in this sweet... Both are totally different in texture, taste and flavour. But I liked both. I loved the simplicity in this method and this can be quickly done, which I loved the most. So you can prepare this recipe (Godhuma Pindi Rava Halwa) Wheat Sooji Halwa... and Enjoy Cooking!!!

  • Wheat Flour 1 cup
  • Sooji 1/2 Cup
  • Ghee 15 tbsp
  • Sugar 1,1/2 cup
  • Cashew Nuts 10
  • Cardamon powder 1 tsp

Preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add 1 tbsp ghee to heat, when ghee is heated then add sooji to fry... Fry it for good smell.. Then move it to a plate and cool it for..
  2. In same wok add 1 tbsp ghee to heat, when ghee is melted then add wheat flour to fry for good smell.. Wheat so leave raw smell, it will be came good smell then move it to a another plate and then put it a side for cool....
  3. Now add 1 tbsp ghee to heat, then add cashew nuts and fry it for gold color, then move it to a plate.. 
  4. Next take a wok add sugar, water 3 cups and then melt it for the sugar syrup... When sugar is boiled for one boiled then put it in sim flame...
  5. Then add sojji and mix it well, then add fried wheat flour also and then again mix it well... Mix it the mixture will be continues it will be thick... 
  6. And then add ghee and mix it well for the ghee is mixed in to the halwa. Then add cardamon powder mix it well for, then add fried cashew nuts and mix it well for the mixture... 
  7. Now take a plate apply ghee, then move it to a plate and spread it all sides... then cut it small pieces and then cool it for 15 minutes and then take the pieces and then serve it... Or you can eat as you like...

Bread Curd Vada Recipe Andhra Style How to Prepare

   Hi friends good morning to all, today one interesting recipe "Bread Dahi Vada". Its a  instant dahi vada is easy and quick alternative of the traditional urad dal dahi vada. In the Instant Dahi wada we use bread slice instead of urad lentils. You can make insant dahi wada within an 15 minutes. Bread dahi vada recipe is a delicious low-fat and guilt-free break fast.   • Grated Carrot 1/2 cup
  • Curd (yogurt) 2 cups
  • Oil 6 tbsp
  • Oil for deep fry 
  • Urad dal 1 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Bengal gram 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 
  • Red Chilies 2
  • Cashew nuts 6
  • Garlic cloves 3
  • Green chilies 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation :-
  1. First take a bowl add curd and mix it well, then add 1/6 glass water, salt again mix it well for 2 minutes.
  2. Then take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add finely chopped garlic pieces fry it, then add urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilies, bengal gram to fry... 
  3. And then add to curd again mix it well... And then same wok add oil, then add cashew nut fry it for lite red color.. then move it to a plate...
  4. Next take a wok add oil to heat, then take a bowl add bread pieces, cut sides then sprinkle water then make it a small balls... Same to do all bread pieces... 
  5. Now take a bowl add carrot grated, salt pinch, red chili powder, chat masala powder chopped onions, and mix it well... Then take bread balls press it then put the carrot mixture in side, again close it...
  6. When oil is heated then take bread balls and then drop it into oil to fry it in medium flame... fry it golden color then move it to a plate...
  7. And cool it for the bread, bread is cooled then move it to curd mix it well... And then put it for 10 minutes in freezer the serve it cool......
