Perugu Pulusu Andhra Style Recipe How to Make

    Hi friends, today one simple and easy to prepare "Perugu Pulusu Recipe"(Curd Curry Recipe)... In Andhra we prepare this regularly in your lunch time or dinner time... Very simple so easy to prepare this recipe and also this is lunch box recipe guys... There are so many versions of seasoned or spiced yogurts in Indian cuisine. Apart from the perugu pulusu or Majiga pulusu, is another seasoned yogurt dish from the Andhra cuisine. Perugu pulusu is made with onions, curd, green chillies.. Some people will add vegetables also, like snake gourd, bottle gourd it good combination to this perugu pulusu.. But now am not using any vegetable.. In this recipe you must take curd not fresh curd, it will be one day are two days before curd will be used in this.. Why means fresh curd is sweet, but in this recipe we just take little sour curd is perfect to this recipe... So friends you must take this.. If you like fresh curd you can try that also but taste it will be little sweet.. before one day curd will be little sour the taste simple wow..... As you like to prepare this guys....... To make this perugu pulusu, onions are slightly fried and then added to the yogurt along with tempering. There are also many versions of this dish. Ingredients :-

  • Curd 2 cups
  • Onions 2
  • Green chillies 4
  • Red Chillies 2
  • Oil 3 tsp
  • Urad dal 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/6 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leafs
  • In English sun-dried yogurt chillies / In Hindi dahi mirchi / In telugu Majjiga Mirapa or uppu mirapakaya 5.

Preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add sun-dried chillies (uppu mirapakaya) and fry it for... When chillies are fried then move it to a side... And then add urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds to fry.. Then chopped red chillies fry it for....

  2. Now add finely chopped onions mix it well for.....
  3. Fry it for lite pink color.. When onions are fried then add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and then mix it well for...
  4. Green chillies also fried for 1 minute. Then add turmeric powder, salt to taste again mix it well for 2 minutes...
     
  5. After 2 minutes switch off the gas, now take curd mix it lite.. then add onion mixture into curd......
  6.  Mix it well for... Then check salt again mix it well for.....
Now the dish is ready then add fried sun- dried chillies and then serve with hot steam rice...... Its very simple and easy to prepare and taste is delicious...
