This spicy chicken is so tasty and delicious curry... Kurma, also spelled as Khurma or Korma, is a mild form of curry and is distinguished from other curries by its rich sauce and smooth texture, mainly because of its heavy incorporation of yogurt.  The flavor of a kurma is based on a mixture of spices, including ground coriander, combined with yogurt that is kept below curdling temperature and incorporated slowly and carefully with the meat juices. The most popular meat ingredients for Kurma are chicken, lamb and (less commonly) pork.  The meat is usually mixed with vegetables such as spinach and turnip.  Vegetarian Kurma, known as Navratan, is made with vegetables and paneer cheese and garnished with nuts. Kurma is a great accompaniment with Steamed Rice or Naan.

Ingredients :-

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili paste 3 tsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Shah Jerra 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon stick pieces 4
  • Cloves 4
  • Poppy seeds paste 5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 15 tsp
  • Coriander leafs
    Spicy  Chicken Korma Curry How to make
Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add chicken pieces, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp, curd and then mix it well, marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Next take a pan add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add shah jerra, cinnamon stick, cloves fry it. Then add chopped onions, green chili pieces fry it for lite red color.
  3. When onions are fried then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder mix it well, then add marinated chicken pieces mix it well for.
  4. Then close it with lid and boil it for 10 to 15 minutes in low flame. Then add chopped tomato pieces mix it again close the lid and cook it for.
  5. Now add poppy seeds paste, water 1 glass and then mix it, then add salt to taste... Boil it for 10 minutes it came thick consistency, add garam masala powder mix it well...
  6. Then add coriander leafs also mix it then move it to a bowl and then serve it hot....
