Ingredients :-
- Elephant foot yam (kanda gadda) 250 grams
- Onions 2
- Tomato 3
- Tamarind juice 1/2
- Turmaric powder 1/4 spoon
- Red chilli powder 2, 1/2 spoon
- Urad dal 1 spoon
- Jerra 1 spoon
- Mustard seeds 1 spoon
- Salt to taste
- Fenugreek seeds (menthulu)1/2 spoon
- Curry leafs, coriander leafs
- Oil 6 spoons
Preparation :-
- First peel the kanda, and cut in to small pieces.
- Take pan add oil to heat, then add urad dal, mustard seeds, jerra, fenugreek, curry leafs fry.
- Then add chopped onions fry for 3 mins. Then add chopped tomatoes fry for 5 min.
- Than add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix it well. When oil is came out then start next process.
- Then add chopped kanda fry it for 5 mins. Then add tamarind juice and water mix it well.
- Then put the lid boil it for 15 mins. When then kanda is boiled the gravy also came little bit contain add coriander leafs and out to a serving bowl.
