Today recipe Potato kurma / Aloo kurma is very easy to prepare. It is one of the Andhra style recipe. It is also a perfect side dish for chapatti, Veg Biryani, rice and paratha. I make this recipe with Roti or Rice in my kitchen. We use to prepare this Potato Kurma with coconut paste and it taste amazing. Actually am use in this curry some whole garam masala and garam masala powder also I used... Its very simple and taste curry... Little bit spicy and tasty it perfect to eat with rice roti, chapati what you like eat this curry... Its perfect to all combination recipes..... This is my amma signature recipe she will prepare very simple and taste recipe are prepare for my family... In this gravy we use dry or fresh coconut paste...... My amma will prepare this both fresh or dry coconut... But today am using dry coconut paste........ Its some great taste... I usually make these kurma through very easy steps.......
Ingredients :-
- Boiled Potatoes 2
- Onions 3
- Tomato 3
- Coconut paste 1 cup
- Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Whole Garam masalas
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Oil 6 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves
- Curry leaves
Preparation :-
- First take a jar add coconut pieces and then grind it fine paste and then move it to a side.
- Next finely chopped onions, tomatoes, boiled potatoes....
- Take a pan add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add whole garam masala to fry... And then add chopped onions to fry for lite gold color......
- Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, tomatoes mix it well for......, boil it for oil will oozes out.....
- Now add boiled potatoes, red chili powder and then mix it well for...... again oil oozes out..
- When oil is oozes out, then add coconut paste mix it well for..... Coconut lives there raw smell....
- Then add water mix it well for, and then close with lid and then boil it for.......
- Check it for, when the curry leaves oil out then add coriander powder, garam masala powder and then mix it well for......
- Boil it for 2 minutes, then add coriander leaves, curry leaves and then mix it... Then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it........
