How to Prepare Andhra Pradesh Sambar Recipe

     Hi this is neha, Today one different recipe Andhra special sambar, How to cook. An easy and quick method to make Sambar. I usually make sambar using the method, I have mentioned in this post as this is a very easy method for making sambar and less time. In this sambar recipe, I use sambar powder and cook the vegetables and yellow lentils (Arhar dal, in telugu Kandi papu) in a pressure cooker.Usually the vegetables are cooked separately and the add boiled mashed dal to the cooked vegetables. In this recipe, I have used veggies like brinjals, okra (Lady's finger), drum stick, cucumber, radish, onions and tomatoes. However you can have your own choice.

Ingredients For Recipe :-

  • Yellow lentils (Arhar dal) 1,1/2 cup
  • Brinjal's 150 grams
  • Okra (Lady's finger) 150 grams
  • Drum stick's 2
  • Cucumber 1 (medium size)
  • Radish 150 grams
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Green chillies 6
  • Tamarind 1,1/2 lemon size
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
  • Water 4 glasses
  • Sambar Powder 2, 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Jeera 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal 1tsp
  • Red chillies 2
  • Hing 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 6 tbsp
  • Curry leaves and coriander leaves
How to Prepare Andhra Pradesh Sambar Recipe
 Method for :-

  1. First sock tamarind. Next take cooker add dal and add water 2 cups and close with lid and boil it for 3 vissel's.
  2. Next cut all the vegetables put aside. And then take a vessel bowl add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chillies, chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, 2 glasses of water and boil it for 10 minutes.
  3. When the vegetable's are half boiled then add soaked tamarind water, and mix it well. And now boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Now the vegetables is boiled then add mashed dal and mix it well.
  5. Next add salt to taste, sambar powder and mix it well. Boil it for 5 minutes in high flame.
  6. Next take a wok add oil to heat, then add urad dal, mustard seeds, jeera, fenugreek seeds, chopped red chillies, hing, curry leaves fry it for, and then add to boiled vegetables and mix it well. Boil it for 5 minutes in high flame....
  7. When the sambar is boiled then turn to a serving bowl and add fresh chopped coriander leaves and then serve it with rice........

Veg Bagara Rice Recipe How to Prepare

   Hi friends good morning to all... I am so sorry for it... My marriage date is conformed so I am little bit busy that's y my post are be lated.... :).... Today recipe is  Vegetable bagara rice is very easy to prepare and very taste recipe. Healthy our pot dish which can be serves as a complete meal by itself. Veggies make it look vibrant and taste just awesome. Serve it with any curry or raitha. So relish this dish enjoy its taste. This seves as a best way to get rid of all the left over veggies sitting in your refrigerator.. :-)

Ingredients :-

  • Rice 3 cups
  • Potatoes 2 (medium size)
  • Capsicums 2 
  • Carrots 2
  • Cauliflower pieces 1 cup
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • Green Bean pieces 1/2 cup
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Green chilies 8
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  •  Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Aji-no-moto 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1
  • Cardamom 4
  • Cloves 5
  • Shahjeera 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil and Ghee 10 tbsp (Both) 
Preparation :-

  1. First take a cooking vessel add oil and ghee heat, then add cloves,cinnamon, cardamom, shahjeera fry for.
  2. Next add chopped onions, chopped green chilies fry it for lite golden color.
  3. And then add chopped capsicum, and fry it for. (Fry the capsicum pieces for good smell.)
  4. Next add boiled vegetables chopped carrot, chopped potatoes, chopped cauliflower, peas, chopped green beans and mix it well. Fry it for 5 minutes.
  5. Next add chopped tomatoes salt to taste and mix it well. 
  6. And then add coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice and mix it.
  7. Now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, aji-no- motot and mix it well. and fry it for 5 minutes.
  8. Next add soaked rice, add water and mix it well.(3 cups rice, u use only 5 cups of water.) And close with lid and and boil it for.
  9. When the rice boiled then turn to a serving bowl, and add ring onions some coriander and serve it hot.
Serve it with raitha and serve it... And enjoy the new taste.. Its very delicious recipe. Enjoy with ur family.
