You can either spread Bombay chutney / besan chutney on chapati or eat with chapati. As the name, many people say that it suits for Bombay weather. Onions are major contributors in this recipe. My sister too does this recipe and she twisted the recipe by adding boiled potatoes to it. I blogged about this recipe before here and this is just addition of potatoes to this chutney and i am sure potatoes lovers will love this combination of besan and potatoes. But to today we are not use potatoes in this recipe.... I use only onions.... I love to eat this curry in chapati so good taste, in my family me and my dad loved very much chapati.. Amma prepared so many varieties for chapati like tomato and onion combination, only onions curry, potato masala curry etc..., we love to eat.. Ingredients :-

  • Besan flour 6 tbsp
  • Onions 5
  • Green chilies 6
  • Urad dal 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leafs
  • Oil 6 tbsp

 Method :-

  1. First take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leafs to fry.

  2. Then add chopped onions, chopped green chilies, salt, turmeric powder and then fry it for 10 minutes in medium flame.

  3. Then add 2 glasses of water and mix it well. And boil it for one boil. Now take a bowl add besan flour, water mix it well.

  4. When the water is boiled then put it in low flame, then add besan water in it and then mix it well.

   Hi friends, am so happy share my 200th recipe here... And thanks to every one, and my friends, relatives, my face book viewers to all people... Thank u so much to all my sweet friends.. for encourage me.. Am really so happy :)... Today I came with new taste and different Indian style chicken "Manjuruh Kalia Chicken"recipe.. Its some spicy, juicy sweet chicken recipe...  Manjuruh Kalia Chicken is an evergreen Indian chicken curry with black pepper (kali mirch), made in various ways across the nation. The aroma of freshly ground black pepper integrated with the flavour of chicken and assorted spices in this Indian simmered pepper-chicken curry is bound to drive you hungry! Over the years, I have tried experimenting with the combo of pepper and chicken along with various Indian spices. I was searching some good chicken recipe which is delicious but healthy. And it is none other better than CURD (Yogurt) CHICKEN. Less spicy, lightly creamy, healthy. Adopted basic idea from google, but prepared it on my own way. It is quite different, so tasty.
    Magine the goodness of almonds in your curry. Now add the most flavorful blend of spices to it.  And then imagine ‘marinated in yogurt’, tender, juicy, falling off the boneless chicken pieces in this gravy. Its so soft and so juicy.. marinated chicken for 3 hours then i prepare this recipe, actually we went restaurant, then I saw this recipe in that restaurant so we order that curry, I taste it wow amazing taste really I loved it so much, next day I searched this recipe in google.. There are so many recipe have, but how can I select that.. So I read some recipes, but I tried same process but the taste so so.. Then I ask my friend mother she is a north indian,  so I asked aunty she will told the recipe.. Then I stared the curry good but, the tasty is no k then I thick y don't I try google recipe, and my aunty recipe I will combined both and add some spices.. wow great combination the smell is so good taste also nice... But the restaurant taste is not came but its also so tasty.. Really so good taste.. So juicy and lite sweet taste wow its really so good.. Next time I add kasuri methi in this recipe wow now came the restaurant style and taste.... So friends see the process to make this tasty and royal recipe 'Manjuruh Kalia Chicken curry' process... Ingredients :-

  • Boneless chicken 250 grams
  • Almonds 15
  • Onions 2
  • Pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Ginger pieces 1 tbsp
  • Garlic pieces 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom 6
  • Cinnamon sticks 3
  • Butter 5 tbsp
  • Oil 10 tbsp
  • Cream 5 tbsp
  • Coriander leafs
  • Kasuri methi powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Manjuruh Kalia Chicken Recipe How to Cook
Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add cleaned boneless chicken small pieces, salt, turmeric powder then mix it well and marinate it for 3 hours....
  2. After 3 hours start the process (why this means the chicken will be soft and cooked also fast and tasty and juicy that's y we marinated this for 3 hours.). And also soaked almonds in hot water and then soak it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes move it to a plate, then remove the skin.
  3. Next take a jar add skin less almonds, lithely chopped onion pieces, 4 green chilies, ginger garlic pieces and grind it. Than add some water again grind it fine paste.
  4. Then take a pan add oil, butter to heat it, when oil is heated add cardamom, cinnamon pieces, kasuri methi, green chilies to fry. 
  5. And then add marinated chicken pieces, pepper powder and mix it well. Then put the lid to cook the chicken. Roast it lite pink color for 15 minutes in medium flame.
  6. When the chicken is roasted then add grind almond paste mix it well for oil will oozes out. Then oil will oozes out then add 1 glass of water, salt to taste and then cook it in low flame for thick paste.
  7. The chicken will be cooked and soft then add fresh cream mix it, then add chopped coriander leafs and then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it...
