I love seafood esp prawn,when my sister-in-law told, she made dum prawn briyani and it turned out awesome I's was in urge to cook instantly. Actually after my marriage I came to my husband's home, my sister-in-law prepared this again to me... Wow the taste is really so good.. Of course, no wonder, I did and relished this awesome home style briyani the very next day itself. But it took more than 2 months to post this recipe ,see how lazy am !!! Well, it's sure a treat for all seafood lovers out there and enjoy guys .... This rice tastes really good and has the tempting and refreshing flavor of mint. This spicy seafood rice is just a twist to my family favorite recipe of prawns pulao.. And also I put it for dum for more taste... Prawn Biryani Step by Step I’m sharing along with you the delicious Andhra Style Prawns Biryani recipe. Sea food lovers will delight in this particular recipe for sure. This can be one among my favorite Biryani of all of the Biryanies. We all know Prawns have healthy food with a lot of nutritional values. They’re excellent to cure eye and heart related problems. I was a little bored to cook on Sunday evening and thought of making a mint pulao and fried prawns and ended up with this recipe. But it tasted delicious with the fragrance of fresh mint, spices and prawns together made this an aromatic and delicious rice recipe and was perfect with raita.
Ingredients :-
- Prawns 1/2 kg
- Basmati Rice 1/2 kg
- Curd 1/4 cup
- Onions 3
- Tomatoes 3
- Green chilies 8
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Salt to ataste
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Cashew nuts 15 no's
- Shahjeera 1 tsp
- Cardamom's 4
- Cinnamon stick 4
- Mace (Japatri) 3 to 4
- Cloves 6
- Bay leaf 2
- Mint leaves 1/4 cup
- Oil 6 tbsp
- Ghee 3 tbsp
- First take a cooking bowl add oil & ghee to heat, when oil is heated then add shahjeera, cloves, mace, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf to fry..
- Then add chopped onions, green chilies to fry... Fry it for brown color...
- When onions are totally fried, then add turmeric powder, salt to taste and then fry it for..
- And then add mint leaves and then mix it well for..
- Now add chopped tomatoes to fry, when tomatoes are fried then add red chili powder, prawns and then mix it well......
- Mix it well for all ingredients are mixed, then close with lid and cook it for 3 minutes in medium flame......
- After 3 minutes open the lid and then mix it well for, then add ginger garlic paste and then mix it well.......
- Fry it for ginger garlic fried, then add soaked rice, curd and then mix it well for.....
- Mix the rice, then add water again mix it and boil it for.....
- And then close with lid and then cook it for 90% boiled...
- Boil it 90%, when the rice is boiled 90% then move it to dum........
- Put it in dum for 10 minutes for....... Good aroma.......
