  • First take a bowl add jaggery 1/4 glass water.

I saw this recipe in my family marriage..  My aunty is order this recipe for dinner... First time I eat this recipe wow its amazing taste.. And also heavy ghee.... Its to much of ghee....  Where the Halwa was being prepared in bulk. Since it tasted so good, I was quite curious about its preparation. Next day we prepare this halwa in my home good that's all its not a sooooooo good.. Then I search this recipe in online and I check it for recipe in online, I saw 10 blog pages in online... Some different... So I will tried again with my sis help to this recipe... Now it came sooooooooo gooooooood I love it the taste.....  The Halwa came out well beyond my expectations. Since you can preserve the Halwa for many days, we had a good time with this delectable home-made sweet for many days. The taste is yummy. It is a super hit in my home. Mom, dad and sister, sister son & sister daughter  loved it so much. Dates Halwa is the second recipe of dates which I have tried having Dates as main ingredient. For the Dates Halwa to come out really well, do make sure you choose soft de-seeded Dates packed appropriately. If the Dates are found to be a bit hard, boil it them for little more time in Hot Milk to soften them before preparing the Halwa as mentioned below.   • Dates 150 grams
  • Milk 300 ml
  • Corn flour 3 spoons
  • Ghee 15 spoons
  • Sugar 3 spoons
  • Cashew nuts 10 
  • Raisin 10
  • Almonds 10
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 spoon
How To prepare Dates Halwa Sweet Recipe
Method :-
  1. First take a bowl add milk to boil it for. Boil it for 15 minutes. When the milk is boiled then add date pieces and mix it well
  2. And now boil it for it in low flame, for 15 to 20 minutes to boiled dates. Then the date a re totally boiled then move it to a jar and grind it fine paste.
  3. Next take a pan add 1 spoon ghee then add corn flour fry it for a 5 minutes in low flame. Then add some water again mix it into a  fine past, then move it to a side.
  4. Then take a wok add ghee then add  dates paste mix it well. Now add sugar again mix it for 5 minutes in meduim flame, now add cardamom powder mix it well.
  5. And also add corn paste also and again mix it well for 5 more  minutes. If u want milk then add some more boiled milk... 
  6. Now add fried cashew nut pieces, almond pieces, raisins to  halwa and mix it well for it, then it came thick consistency. 
  7. Then take a plate apply ghee and then move it to a plate and cool it for 10 minutes and then cut it small pieces and then cool it for 15 to minutes and then serve it to a plate and then serve it.....

   Idly sambar Andhra Break fast... It tasty and delicious morning break fast... If the Rava Idli isn’t flavorful enough, try your idlis doused in sambar, a spicy red stew of tomatoes, dal, onions, and whatever else the kitchen has lying around. Sambar Idly is a speciality of South Indian Cuisine. It is one of the famous healthy breakfast recipe that is loved by people all over country & abroad. 
   This recipe requires to make a lot of Sambar, as we need more sambar to soak the idlies in..! And also prepare "Mini Idlie's" tastes great & the kids will just love them. Not only in Andhra, in Tamilnadu also it's very famous. When I went to chenni we eat Samabar Idly  I love it so much... Though there are still several Karnataka dishes that I would like to try out and post, this time, I am sticking to a popular dish from Tamilnadu. Hotel Saravana Bhavan is a famous for its 14 idli. This is nothing but 14 tiny idlis dunked in sambar. And this combination is filter coffee mmmhhh!!!! I loved it so much... something people can't stop talking about once they have tasted it. A saucepan shaped (and sized) container full of their signature sambar in which the idlis soak until you dig into them - is it any wonder people keep going back for more of it?
    Today, I have for you, my version of this popular restaurant dish. Idli-Vada-Sambhar…who doesn’t enjoy this heavenly combo for breakfast? I can eat them anytime of day, anytime of year. When it comes to breakfast, this is my perfect idea of comfort food. And its healthy too (sans the vada of course!). In Andhra its very special, in restaurants, hotels it very famous in Andhra also... In my home we prepare weekly 3 days, we eat not only samdar, we with ghee and koarapodi mmmhhh!!! yummy taste mouth watering to me... So today we prepare Sambar Idly its very easy to make in your home...... 

Sambar  Ingredients:-  
                                                                
  • Arhar dal (Red Gram/yellow lentils) 1 cup
  • Tamarind 50 grams (soak for it)
  • Onions 2
  • Tomato 3
  • Green chillies 6
  • Turmeric 1/2 spoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 spoons
  • Sambar powder 2 spoons      
  • Oil 5 spoons 
  • Urad dal 1 spoon
  • Mustard seeds 1 spoon
  • Jerra 1 spoon
  • Dry red chillies 2
  • Hing(Asafetida)  1 pinch(to smell) 
  • Curry leafs
  • Coriander leafs
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water
SAMBAR Idli how to prepare  RECIPE
  Idly Ingredients :-

  • Urad dal 1 glass
  • Idly rava 2 glasses
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for mix
Method for Idly  prepare:-

  1. First take a bowl add urad dal, water and then soak for 5 to 6 hour, next take another bowl add idli rava, water and soak it. (Then wash both sparetly).
  2. After 6 hours, take a jar add urad dal and then grind it  fine paste add little bit of water to paste the urad dal.. (thick batter) 
  3. Now take idli rava also drain it, and then press it your hands (you press the rave will avoid water you will add only rava) and then add in to urad dal paste.
  4. And then mix it well for the mixture is prefect. And then soak it for 8 hours (You prepare this batter night time and then use next day morning break fast).

  5. Now take idly bowl add 2 glasses of water and then boil it for 5 minutes. 
  6. Next take idly batter add salt to taste, little bit of  water and then mix it well. The batter is ready to make idlis.

  7. Take idli plates and then add the idly batter in to that, and then put it in to idly bowl and then close it with lid and boil it in medium flame, for 15 minutes.
  8. After 15 minutes check it once's and then move it to a side and cool it for 5 minutes and then serve it hot..
And now prepare Sambar to Idly combination to eat... Lets see the process..                                 
 Sambar Method :-    
  1. First take a cooker add arhar dal, add water 1 1/2 cup, cook it for 4 whistle's
  2. When the dal is cooked put it a side for 15 minutes. Then remove the lid mash it fine paste.
  3. Next take a cooking vessel heat it, and then add chopped onions, Chopped tomatoes, green chili pieces, tamarind paste or tamarind juice and then add some water and then mix it well. 
  4. Next add turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix it well. And boil it for 15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes and then mix it once's, and now add boiled arhar dal paste, and then add some water and mix it well.
  6. And now add salt to taste and mix it well for, and boil it for 10 minutes.
  7. Next take a wok add oil, when oil is heated and then add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chili pieces, hing powder, garlic clove's pieces, curry leaves and  fry it for, when the mixture is fried.
  8. The mixture is fried and then add to boiled arhar mixture and mix it well and boil it for 1 minute.
  9. Now add add fresh coriander once's and then move it to a serving bowl.. And serve it with idly...

Its a street stall item very tasty simple ingredients prepare also so easy... Actually in your Nellore it very famous snack item.. We eat evening time like Bonda, Bajji, Vada, Masala vada etc..., Evening time we this recipe hot hot.. We went to street stall then we bring this snack then eat it with hot tea to sip.... Wow its great combination... In this time all people went to street stall there have some group friends came eat this snack then they are went.. Of course I am so same when I want to my home after my class then we go there then we order masala vada, Mirchi bajji eat with my friends... In tea stalls have compulsare   have this snacks.... In your Nellore we have some friends gang ha ha ha.. Of course every body have small gang or big gang... But me have small gang..... But my amma prepare this snack item in home I love to eat it.. My amma prepare with masala vada with curry its also so good taste.. She will prepare with this vada pulusu.. Its also so tasty and delicious recipe, very different taste some spicy and tangy recipe.. Next time I will prepare that recipe then I will it to recipe process..   • Chana dal  2 cups
  • Dhaniya (Coriander seeds) 1 spoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
  • Dry red chili  4
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 spoon
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
  • Cooking soda little bit
  • Onion 1
  • Curry leafs finely chopped
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Coriander leafs finely chopped
MasalaVadalu Andhra Special how to prepare
Method :-


  1. First take bowl add chana dal, water and sock it for 4 hours.
  2. Take a pan add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry chilies, and dry roast it for good smell. Then move it to a jar and grind it fine powder.
  3. When the masala  is  grind  finely,  then  add  socked  chana dal, salt and again  grind it rough paste (Don't use water to grind the mixture).

  4. Next take a bowl add chana dal paste nix it, then add ginger garlic paste,  finely chopped onions, garam masala powder, coriander leafs, Curry leafs, cooking soda and mix it again for 1 minute.
  5. Now take a wok add oil for deep fry, when oil is heated then make to a small ball and make it like a vada to help of your hands to press it.
  6. When oil is heated, then drop into oil care fully, then fry it golden brown color. When the vada,s is fried then move to a paper towel. And then move it to a serving plate and serve it.....
