Palak Rice Recipe How to Prepare Andhra Style

     Hi friends, today one different and tasty recipe "Palak Rice"... Palak rice also called Spinach rice is an easy and yet healthful recipe blended with rice and palak. There are probably many ways to prepare this recipe. I am sharing the simpler way which I have tried. The Spinach Rice Recipe, is a simple, healthy preparation of cooked rice, mixed and spiced up with spinach and spices. I moist often like to use cardamom, cloves as the main ingredients to make the spinach rice, but you can use a combination of spices and experiment to suit your taste. The Spinach Rice makes a great lunch box meal filled with nutrition of spinach and rice.... In my kitchen, it's easy to get excited about rice. Oftentimes, I just make up a pot and fluff it up with a generous quantity of butter and some cracked green chilies. Sometimes that is just what you want to go along with the rest of your meal. This time around I dressed it up a bit as I had some lovely fresh spinach in the fridge that I didn't want to go to waste. Pretty much as easy as boiling up some rice with few adornments, you get some earthy vegetables here in the mix that doesn't overpower curries you may wish to serve with the dish.... So lets see the process to make the Palak rice........

Ingredients :-
  • Spinach paste 1 cup
  • Onions 2
  • Green chilies 8
  • Shah jeera 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Ghee / Oil 10 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts 10
  • Cardamom 5
  • Cloves 6
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf 2
  • Coriander leaves  
Spinach Rice Recipe How to Make
Preparation :-
  1. First take a pan add oil & ghee, to heat, when ghee is heated then add cloves, cardamom, bay leaf, shah jeera,  cashew nut and then fry it for 5 minutes...
  2. Now add chopped onions, green chilies to fry.. When onions are fried then add ginger garlic paste to fry it for good smell........
  3. Then add spinach paste and then fry it for good smell... Oil will oozes out then add 4 cups water, salt and then mix it well for... 
  4. When water is boiled then add soaked rice, then mix it well then put the lid to cook the rice...  Rice is boiled 90% then mix it once then put it in low flame.......
  5. Cook it for 5 more minutes in low flame, when the rice is totally cooked then add chopped coriander leaves and then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it with potato kurma or paneer kurma or raita....
And now the tasty and delicious recipe Palak Rice (Spinach rice) is ready to eat... Its so delicious recipe simple to make a simple to prepare... If u can add in this rice like paneer pieces or sweet corn also add to this rice for more taste.......

Vegetable Soup Konkani Recipe How to Make

     Hi good morning to all.... Today one different and tasty soup "Konkani Vegetable Soup".... Its so easy and tasty morning break fast recipe... In this soup I use vegetables, like carrot, beans, cauliflower and some spices for taste... Temperatures are dropping here way too quickly. This kind of weather calls for some hot soup. So I thought of posting this recipe which we love so much. I have been cooking with lots of vegetables lately. Â This soup is A a one pot, wholesome dish in itself. I have prepared this couple of times for potlucks and it is loved by my family and adults alike. The vegetables gives a sweet taste to this.... So friends try this soup in your home and enjoy the taste.. Its so simple to make this soup.. Lets see the process to make the soup.....

Ingredients :-

  • Carrot pieces 1/2 cup
  • Beans 1/2 cup
  • Cauliflower pieces 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour powder 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil / Butter 3 tbsp
  • Onions 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Cardamom 4
  • Cloves 3
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Cinnamon stick pieces 3
Vegetable Soup Konkani Recipe How to Prepare
Preparation :-

  1. First take a sauce pan add oil / butter to heat, when oil is heated then add cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves to fry for...
  2. Then add chopped onions to fry lite gold color, when the onions are fried then add chopped carrot, beans, cauliflower, green chilies and then mix it well...
  3. Now add 4 glasses water, salt and boil it for 15 minutes in medium flame for boil... Wen water is boiled then check vegetables are cooked are not...
  4. When the vegetables are cooked then add coriander powder, red chili powder mix it well, again boil it for 5 minutes in low flame....
  5. Now take a bowl add corn flour powder, little bit water and then mix it like a thick paste.. veges are boiled then add this corn water and then mix it well for...
  6. Then add coconut milk also and mix it well for... And boil it for 5 minutes in low flame to boil... After 5 minutes check the salt and then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it hot........

How to Prepare Idiyappam with Sweet Recipe

    I usually make sweetened coconut milk ( with sugar) for idiyappam as served in restaurants.I make coconut milk with jaggery only for vendhaya dosai. When i was seeing t.v there came this wonder full recipe... Actually I went kerala in my childhood for 'swami darsanam'.. first time I eat this tasty Idiyappam... Its so tasty and delicious, but there serve it in hotels, restaurants it's a compulsory recipe.... It tastes great for idiyappam and also there is no need to extract coconut milk. So this milk is less in calories too. But it tastes more like coconut milk. Also it takes lesser time to prepare than extracting coconut milk. They I ask to amma, to prepare this Idiyappam recipe, but my amma don't know the recipe to prepare... After few year's I saw this recipe in t.v channel then I noted the recipe how to prepare... What else I need to try this recipe. I tried on the same day for breakfast. It was superb. I have got a tasty sweet accompaniment for idiyappam and appam other than the usual coconut milk.Friends , do try this milk for a change. U’ll make it often. Like Idli another harmless and light dish is Idiyappam. Idiyappam also called as string hoppers is a traditional Tamil, Kerala and Sri Lankan food consisting of rice flour pressed into noodle form and then steamed. It is usually served with idiyappam kurma or coconut milk. Conventional method of making idiyappam is by first preparing the homemade rice flour and then adding boiling water to the flour and squeeze it through the press and mould to get like a noodle and then steam cook it. But now we are getting readymade idiyappam flour which makes our effort less and we can make idiyappam very easily. I have explained here the conventional method of making idiyappam by using homemade rice flour. We can very well follow the method and use the store bought idiyappam flour also. Its simple to make this recipe.. So lets see the process to make this.....

Ingredients :-

  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Jaggery 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
Idiyappam with Sweet Recipe How to Make
Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add water to boil, when water is boiled then add oil, salt and then mix it well for.. then boil the water till the bubbles starts to rise up in the water.
  2. If you are using a store bought idiyappam flour and you have stored it in refrigerator, then boil the water nicely. If your rice flour or idiyappam flour is at room temperature, Take the idiyappam flour or rice flour in a mixing bowl. 
  3. Mix the flour with the backside of a ladle till all the flour are mixed well and you have got a soft dough.  Stop adding water once all the rice flour are mixed up. 
  4. Take the idiyappam press and fix the idiyappam mould and lightly grease the press with oil to avoid stickiness. To this add 1 fist full of  dough  and close the idiyappam press.
  5. Take the idli plate or idiyappam plate and grease the plates with oil. Squeeze the dough onto the idli plates in a circular motion.
  6. We can also place a damp cloth on the idli plate and then squeeze the dough. Now place the idli plates in a steamer and steam it until done. This is similar like how you cook idly in the cooker. And now start next process for jaggery, coconut milk.....
  7. First take a bowl add coconut milk to boil, then add jaggery mixture and then mix it well for... And boil it for thick slightly.... 
  8. When the coconut milk is little bit thick then add cardamom powder and then mix it well for like a syrup then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it with Idiyappam....

My hubby likes non veg very much, but first time I will prepare this paneer recipe to his... He is so happy to eat my curry first time, he is so impressed... Its so simple to prepare.. only some ingredients I will use in this recipe.... Tomato Paneer is a very popular recipe.   • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Dry coconut & cashew nut paste 4 tbsp
 Paneer Tomato Curry Recipe How to Prepare Indian style
Preparation :-

  1. First take a pan add oil, butter and then heat it, when oil is heated then add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamon to fry...
  2. When the whole masala's are fried then add finely chopped onions to fry for 5 minutes.. When onions are fried then add ginger garlic paste to fry...
  3. Then add chopped green chilies to fry, then add dry coconut cashew nut paste, tomato paste and then fried it for oil oozes out...
  4. Oil will oozes out then add cashew nuts, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and then mix it well for....
  5. And then take baby tomatoes cut litely... then add to tomatoes and then mix it well for 10 minutes in low flame.
  6. Then add grated paneer, and then mix it well for 5 minutes... Now add water 1/2 glass and then boil it for.... Boil it for oil will oozes out... When oil is oozes out then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it hot......
