kothimeera roti (Coriander leaf roti) how to prepare easily

  Hi friends, Today recipe is "Kothimeera Roti" recipe... I saw this recipe in t.v channel.. next time I will start to try this recipe in my home..  This is the first time I am trying and I liked it very much. I love the taste and this coriander roti  and will often make appearance in the kitchen. It comes out really soft and stays soft even after long time. So perfect to pack for your lunch box and boondi raita is the perfect side dish for Kothimerra roti. You can indulge without counting the numbers! The kothimeera roti also known as the Coriander roti is a simple and healthy roti that is extremely rich in fibre and nutrition. This roti is a refreshing change from the regular roti and phulkas and can be had as snack or packed into a lunch box for the kids school. It is also attractive to kids because of its beautiful green color, and getting them to eat this at school will seem a breeze. The same way can be adapted and made kothimeera roti too. But here I am posting coriander roti as I like coriander flavor most. Or you can try mixing both coriander and pudina together. Restaurant style pudina roti or coriander roti. Simple ingredients and process to make very easy to prepare this roti.. So lets see the process to make the roti...... 

Ingredient :-

     For Stuffing :-
  • Coriander leafs 1 cup
  • Coriander powder 1 spoon
  • Jeera powder 1 spoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
  • Besan 1 spoon (gram flour) 1 spoon
  • Finely chopped green chillis 1 spoon
  • Salt to taste        
Prepare for flour :-
  • Wheat flour 1, 1/2 cup
  • Oil 2 spoons
  • Salt  to taste

Preparation for roti ingredients :-
  • Rolling for flour
  • Oil for fry
  • Brushing for oil

Method :-

  1. Take a bowl add wheat flour, salt, and mix it, then add water to make a soft dough. Then put a side for 10 to 15 minutes to soak.
  2. After 15 minutes take the dough add oil 2 spoons, again mix it well for 5 minutes.
  3. Now take dough and make a small  balls, and then roll it with rolling pin and make roti's with the help of wheat flour.
  4. Then add stuffing coriander mixer and close it the dough again roll it like a roti.
  5. Now  take a pan heat it, when the pan is heated then add  roti  to fry it for both sides. When roti is fried both side, then add oil and then move it to a plate....
And now Kothimeera Roti is ready to eat.. Its so tasty and easy to make this roti, its very healthy and tasty.. You can serve this roti in break fast / lunch / dinner so good.....
