           Hi friends good morning to all..... Today I came one different and easy morning break fast recipe... "Ginger Oats Roti" its very easy to prepare and taste is yummy..... Cooking with oats can be quite challenging when trying to incorporate it into Indian style recipes. But there are a few Indian oats recipes that are just a breeze to make like today’s "Ginger Oats Roti". All you need to do is add some powdered oats to the regular atta aka wheat flour. I have made a version of oats roti before, and I really liked it, both the for the taste and for the health benefits
I wanted to make something healthy from oats which is not only healthy but yummy too. Finally I thought of making roti with oats + ginger paste and wheat flour.
       Oats have great healthy benefits start your morning with oats. Eating oats regulates cholesterol, pressure, good for your heart, good in losing weight also great for digestion. So don’t wait get a pack of oats make chiwda, poha, upma, rotis Or just cook them and eat. They are great to have in any form as they are full of fiber. I have seen people not eating oats because of its bland flavor. In such cases try giving some spice and flavor to oats dish. I also have developed a habit to eat oats as never had eaten them in my childhood. But have started loving them. Looking forward to make more yummy dishes with oats. This dish is easy to make, simple to cook yet flavorful and healthy. Oats Roti would be an ideal choice for kid tiffin box, lunch box Or quick snack Or brunch. This roti tastes like normal roti so club them with regular vegetable Or gravy. Your family won’t even come to know the difference. You get variety of oats like steel cut oats, instant oats etc. Nowadays you get other variety like masala oats, flavored oats. However I prefer plain oats and spiced at home not in packets. Do share if you have a good recipe from oats which you make back home. Ingredients :-

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Oats Powder 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Butter for fry

Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add wheat flour, oats powder, salt, ginger paste, cumin powder, oil and then mix it well...
  2. Now add water, then mix it like a chapati dough mixture... And then put for rest for 20 to 30 minutes...
  3. After 30 minutes, take the chapati dough mix it then make it small balls... Then roll it like chapati...
  4. Take a pan to heat it, when the pan is heated then add chapati to it then fry it both side,s... Chapati is fried both side then apply butter and then move it to a serving plate and then serve it hot.......
You can serve this roti with aloo curry, paneer curry, raita, and also to eat with sweet chutney also good combination... Also to with tomato pickles its so tasty.........
