Andhra Prawn Pepper Fry Recipe How to Prepare

    Prawn pepper fry is one such recipe where there is spice, little bit spicy. The reason being I have used a lot of pepper in the recipe. I love prawns very much, after my marriage I prepared "Prawn biryani" wow its amizing taste.. My husband also love it... Then I tried this tasty recipe "Black Pepper Prawn Fry".... Though a bit of chilly powder and green chillies were added for spice, freshly ground black pepper dominates the recipe. Tiger prawns or jumbo prawns are best for this recipe, But I was able to get only very small prawns or crevette. Prawn is the best spicy side for rice, and best to have as appetizer too. I'm still in my holiday mood, but snowy winter outside my window making me to go for hot 'n' spicy dish like this recipe. As prawns gets cooked in seconds, this dish can also be prepared in minutes. It goes very well with Rice, especially with Sambar. You should definitely give it a try. Prawn is most commonly used to describe a species of shell fish that is a part of lobster family. Prawns are the excellent source of vitamin E. Scientific name of Indian white  prawn is Penaeus Indicus. Prawn is highly priced and delicious food item. Despite its high cholesterol content Prawn are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, B 12, zinc, iodine, phosphorous, potassium, iron etc. This is one of the easiest recipe which you can make with white prawns. Ingredients :-

  • Prawns 200 grams
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Black pepper powder 1,1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies 3
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts 8
  • Coriander leafs
  • Curry leafs
  • Oil 12 tbsp
  • Ghee 4 tbsp

Preparation :-

  1. First take a pan add oil 6 tbsp to heat, when oil is heated then add ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp, chopped coriander leafs, cleaned prawns and then mix it well for...
  2. Then add salt, turmeric powder mix it well... Then add 1/2 glass water mix it, then put the lid to boil the prawns for 15 to 20 minutes...
  3. Now take a pan add oil and ghee to heat, when oil is heated then add finely chopped onions, chopped green chilies to fry.
  4. When onions are fried then add 1,1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, then mix it well. Ginger garlic is fried then add coriander leafs.
  5. The add chopped tomatoes and mix it well. Then add turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder mix it well, then boil it for 5 minutes in low flame.
  6. After 5 minutes mix it, then add boiled prawns also add and then mix it well. Then add water 1/2 glass, garam masala powder and then mix it well... 
  7. Boil it for water will be vapor, then add black pepper powder also add and then mix it well for. Then add curry leafs, coriander leafs also add then mix it... Put it for 2 minutes in medium flame.. Then move it to a serving bowl and then serve it...
