Ennai kathirikkai Recipe How to Prepare

Then I use in this recipe toor dal also its very good combination to eat this curry... Ennai Kathirikkai Kuzhambu is an authentic South-Indian Kuzhambu recipe. This delicious kuzhambu makes a great rice accompaniment. Brinjal /Eggplant is very low in calories and fats but rich in soluble fiber content. It contains good amounts of many essential B-complex groups of vitamins such as vitamin B5, B6, B1,B3.  So lets see the process to make the curry...

Ingredients :-

  • Brinjals 250 grams
  • Toor dal 1
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/6 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Garlic Cloves 5
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind juice 1/4 cup
  • Poppy seeds oil 6 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves 
Ennai kathirikkai Recipe How to Cook
Preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add toor dal dry roast it good smell, then move it to a plate. Now take a pan add water 2,1/2 cup boil it, when the water is boiled then add fried toor dal in to boiled water and boiled it...
  2. Next take a wok add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, curry leafs to fry.. Then add chopped onions to fry it lite gold color..
  3. Now add crushed garlic cloves, salt, turmeric powder and mix it.. take brinjals cut it like for stuffed brinjal, and then add to it cut it like all and then mix it well.
  4. Then add red chili powder, coriander powder, tomato pieces and mix it well. And then add tamarind pulp juice, sugar and mix it well and put the lid to boil it for 5 minutes in low flame.
  5. After 5 minutes open the lid, add 1 glass of water again mix it well again put the lid and boil it, now take boiled toor dal add to jar and grind it fine paste. 
  6. And then add the toor dal paste in to curry and mix it well.. And boil it for 10 minutes in low flame... When the brijal is boiled then add coriander leaves and then move it to a serving bowl and serve it........
