Aloo Dum Masala Biryani Recipe Andhra Style

         Hi friends, today am sharing biryani recipe Aloo Dum Biryani recipe my style.... My husband love to different type's of rice's, biryani so am try to prepare rices, curry recipes, biryani's... This very simple to prepare time also so saved.... So friends lets move to recipe...

Ingredients :-

  • Aloo 250 grams
  • Basmati rice 1/2 kg
  • Onions big 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Green chilies 4 to 5
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Curd 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon sticks 3 pieces
  • Shajeera 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Butter 2 cubes
  • Cloves 5
  • Cardamoms 3
  • Marathi mokku 2
  • Coconut paste 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 5 tbsp
  • Ghee or Butter 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Mint leaves
Masala Ingredients :-

  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
Masala Preparation :-

First take a wok add black pepper seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds to fry.. Fry it for good smell for.. When it came good smell then switch off the gas, now cool it for... Then take a jar add this and grind it crush powder......

Preparation :-

  1. First take potato peel it and cut it medium cubes.. Now take a plate add curd, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, masala crush powder, potato cubes and mix it well for.. And leave it for 30 minutes.....
  2. Now take a wok add water, butter 2 cubes, cardamoms, shajeera, cinnamon stick, marathi mokku, salt, clove and boil it for... When water is boiled then add green chilies 4, mint leaves, soaked rices and boil it for 80%...... 
  3. Rice is boiled 80% then strain the rice and put it a side......
  4. Now take a cooking pot add oil to heat, oil is heated then add cumin seeds, chopped onions and mix... Then add green chilies to fry......
  5. When onions are fried brown color then add chopped tomatoes mix it well for...... Then add marinated potatoes, coriander, mint leaves and mix it well for...... 
  6. Now close it with lid and boil it for 5 minutes in low flame....... After 5 minutes open the lid mix it, then check potatoes are fried 50% then add coconut paste and mix it well for....
  7. And now add salt mix it well for, then add water mix it and then close it with lid and boil it for 5 more minutes......
     
  8. After 5 minutes open the lid water will be vapour, oil is oozes out then mix it, now add garam masala powder again mix it........ like this...
  9. Now add rice spread it like this, and then add ghee, coriander leaves, mint leaves close it with lid and put it in dum like this and boil it for 5 minutes in high flame......
  10. And switch off the gas leave it for 2 minutes, then open the lid mix it lightly......
Now the dish is ready....... Its good to eat with lunch or dinner serve with raitha...  So friends try this simple dum biryani recipe.....
