Coconut Milk Biryani Recipe Andhra Style How to Prepare

         Hi friends, today one different taste fast to cook plain coconut milk biryani.... Its very simple and easy to cook this recipe.. Its easy and fast lunch box recipe.. Spicy south Indian flavoured rice which is a basic dish for lunch and dinner in road side motels and Biryani shops in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil nadu. Basmati rice is the traditional rice used with Indian dishes; it has a fine texture and a good flavor. As far as slow cooking goes, this is a fast dish, taking only about 20 to 30 minutes to cook; the end result is light, fluffy, and perfectly spiced. If you plan to be gone longer than it takes this dish to cook, plug the slow cooker into a timer and set it to finish when you arrive at home. But am cooked in cooking bowl.. Simple version of plain Biryani. Try this at home and Enjoy Cooking!!! So lets see the process step by step pics.. 
Ingredients :-


  • Basmati Rice 2 cups
  • Coconut Milk 1 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onions 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/6 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilies 8
  • Cloves 4
  • Cinnamon stick pieces 2
  • Cardamoms 3
  • Mug nut powder (or) small pieces 2
  • Mug nut flower pieces 2  
  • Shah Jerra 1 tsp
  • Bay Leaf 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Curd 3 tbsp
  • Oil 10 tbsp
  • Ghee 3 tbsp
Preparation :-

  1. First take a pan add oil / ghee to heat, when oil is heated then add whole garam masalas to fry... Then add chopped onions, salt and then mix it again and fry it for lite brown color.. Now add chopped green chilies mix it...
  2. When onions are fried brown color then add ginger garlic paste, mint leaves and mix it well... Fry it for 1/2 minute, then add chopped tomatoes mix it...
  3. Then close it with lid and cook it for tomatoes will be soft... When tomatoes are soft then mix it again.. Now add red chili powder mix it..
  4. And then curd mix it cook it for 1 minute.. Then add coconut milk, 1 glass water mix it well and boil it for one boil... (Then check salt then add salt to taste) again close with lid..
  5. When water is boiled then put it in sim flame, then add soaked rice mix it slowly.. Then add bay leaf close with lid and cook it for....... 
  6. After 5 to 8 minutes open the lid mix it slowly, again close with lid and boil it for...
  7.  When rice is boiled then switch off the gas and leave it for 5 minutes.......
