Doodh Peda Kheer How to Make Recipe

    Doodh peda kheer or alternatively labelled as a Doodh peda  is a deliciously refreshing dessert consisting of soft and light spongy balls made from milk powder cooked and served in creamy thickened milk and with a pistachio or almond garnish. Doodh peda kheer recipe one more quick sweet dessert recipe of kheer, that can be made for navratri, dussehra and diwali. I plan to add some quick and easy sweets for the upcoming festive season. The Doodh peda kheer is one such recipe that can be made in a milk powder and maida will be done in less than 30 to 40 minutes. All you need is and milk along with some dry fruits. The Doodh peda  kheer has been flavored with cardamom powder, cashew nuts almond crush. cardamom powder is a must, if u want rose essence u can add some fragrance to the kheer. Good to add it, but skip if you don’t have. Strands can be easily skipped if you don’t have these. you can also add your choice of dry fruits. The recipe tastes somewhat like Dhood peda with soft, in flavored & sweetened milk. So lets see the preparation... This recipe will take more time so u must do this recipe in free time and then enjoy this.......... 

Ingredients :-

  • Milk 6 cups
  • Maida flour 1/2 cup
  • Milk powder 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Ghee 5 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts pieces 2 tsp
  • Almond pieces 2 tsp
  • Pista pieces 2 tsp
  • Raisins for use

preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add milk to boiled. Boil it for 20 minutes in medium flame for the milk is thick.
  2. Next take a bowl add maida flour, baking powder, milk powder and mix  it well.
  3. And then add some water to mix the mixture, and mix it like a smooth dough and then put it a side.
  4. And now the milk is boiled and then add sugar and mix it well for the sugar is melt.
  5. Next take the dough mixture and then prepare it like a small balls, and then press it in middle .
  6. Next add fried raisins and then close it, and then press it like a doodh peda all are same to do like that.
  7. And now take a wok add ghee to heat it, and then add these peda's to fry it for little golden color. (fry it in low flame for good smell)
  8. When milk is boiled it came's thick and then add fried and chopped cashew nuts, almond nuts add and mix it well.
  9. And then add fried pedas to milk and then boiled dhood pedas  for 5 minutes in low flame.
  10. After 5 minutes and then move to a serving bowl and cool it in refrigerate and then cool it for 1 hour..... After 1 hour u can serve this coollllll..... And enjoy it this cool and sweet desert.......
