Beetroot Fried Gram Fry / Vepudu Andhra Style

        Hi friends, today am sharing very easy and fast to prepare recipe "Beetroot Fried Gram"... Its very tasty and delicious recipe, little bit spicy and sweet.. Simple ingredients to use in this recipe... Its time also save you can serve it this in lunch box also its to fast guysssss so friends lets move to recipe...... :)

Ingredients :-

  • Beetroot 250 grams
  • Onions 2 medium
  • Fried gram / Tenesanaga pappu 3 tbsp
  • Urad dal 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilies 6 to 7 (spicy as you like)
  • Dry Coconut pieces 3 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves 5 to 6
  • Curry leaves
Preparation :-

  1. First take a wok add oil to heat it, then add urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds to fry. Then add chopped onions, chopped beetroot mix it well..
  2. And now add salt, turmeric powder again mix it fry it for 1/2 minute... Then add 1/4 glass water mix it then close it with lid and boil it for water will be vapour......
  3. Now take a jar add fried gram, salt little bit, garlic cloves, red chilies, dry coconut pieces and grind it fine powder like this and put it a side...  Now open the lid, water will vapour then mix it well......
  4. And then add grind powder again mix it.... Then add curry leaves mix it then leave it for 30 sec then switch off the gas and move it serving bowl.....
Now the tasty delicious recipe is ready to serve..... Its good to eat with steam rice, roti, chapati etc.., you can serve this side dish in rasam also so tasty......
