Its your first festival after marriage, its so special to use.. In Andhra Sankranti festival is very important, in villages kodi pandalu "Hen Games, Ox games" addla pandalu.. so wonder full... In this time came newly married couple will came to wife home and there enjoy the festival programs..... In my home we prepare lots of recipes like Arisalu, pappu chekalu, murukulu, laddu, etc...., I will share those recipe here... But today I share Natu kodi curry its very special item in Andhra & Telangana... Its Desi Chicken Curry recipe or natu kodi pulusu in telugu whatever it is called but the taste is awesome rather than normal boiler chicken recipe. We are extremely enjoyed the desi chicken curry recipe | Natu Kodi Pulusu at home specially sunday this afternoon. and i would like to share how to make desi chicken curry recipe or Natu Kodi Pulusu at your home in little time of about one hour. I know its little time taking but the fact is that after making this you forget how much time it takes to make Andhra kodi kura recipe or desi chicken curry recipe or Natu Kodi Pulusu. So lets start to know how to make andhra kodi kura recipe or desi chicken curry recipe or Natu Kodi Pulusu. Lets see the process to make the curry........

Ingredients :-


  • Country chicken 1 kg
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Curd 1/4 cup
  • Red chilli powder 5 spoons
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 spoons
  • Garam masala powder 1, 1/2 spoon
  • Jerra powder 1 spoon
  • Coriander powder 1 spoon
  • Onions 2 (paste) 
  • Tamarind paste 1 spoon
  • Poppy Seeds paste 2, 1/2 spoon
  • Oil 8 spoon
Country Chicken Curry Recipe How to Make
Preparation :-

  1. First take a bowl add chicken, turmeric powder and fry it for 15 minutes (Don't use oil).
  2. Now put it aside for few minutes to cool. After cooling add curd, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and salt mix it well allow it to soak for approximately 15 minutes. 
  3. Now take a kadai add oil to heat, when oil is heated then add ginger garlic paste and onion paste fry till it turns to light golden colour.
  4. Next take a bowl add jerra powder, coriander powder, red chili powder (2 spoons), garam masala powder and water mix it well into a paste, than add to onion paste again mix it well.
  5. And then add some water mix it, then add poppy seeds paste and mix it well. 
  6. Cook it for oil oozes out, than add soaked chicken to it and boil it for 20 minutes.
  7. After 20 minutes, mix it well for... When chicken is totally boiled, then add tamarind paste and mix it well and allow it for 15 minutes to boil. 
  8. After 15 minutes open the lid, mix it well for then add chopped coriander leafs mix it well and then move it to a serving bowl and then serve hot.....
So yummy and so spicy delicious Natu Kodi Chicken Curry/ Country Chicken Curry is ready to eat..... In this sankranti is so special to prepare this natu kodi chicken....
