Ridge Gourd Bengal Gram Dal Fry Recipe How to Prepare

           Hi friends, toady one different and tasty Andhra style Ridge Gourd Bengal Gram Dal Fry recipe (Beerakaya Senagapappu Talimpu).... Its very simple to prepare and so tasty.. One of my fav dish, my amma prepare this recipe monthly twice.. Not only this dish she will prepare with ridge gourd masala curry, onion fry, etc..., not only curry's and fries she will prepare chutneys also so tasty... I will be share soon in my blog.....  Lets see the process to make this tasty recipe step by step pics here.......
Ridge Gourd Bengal Gram Dal Fry Recipe How to Make

Ingredients :-

  • Ridge Gourd (Beerakaya) 1/4 kg
  • Bengal Gram (Senagapappu) 1/4 cup
  • Onions 2
  • Urad dal 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 3
  • Oil 5 tbsp
  • Curry leaves
Preparation :-

  1. First take a pan add bengal gram, water and boil it for 95%, then move it to a plate... Now take a pan add oil to heat, then add urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds to fry, then add chopped onions to fry......

  2. When onions are fried then add chopped ridge gourd, salt, turmeric powder and mix it well for.... Now add curry leaves and mix it again, then close with lid and cook it for 2 minutes in low flame...... 
  3. After 2 minutes, open the lid and mix it well for. When ridge is soft (perfect soft) then add boiled bengal gram and mix it well for.......
  4. And cook it for 1 minute in low flame, then add crush garlic, red chili powder, pinch of salt and mix it well for.. And fry it for 30 sec and then switch off the gas......
  5. After 30 sec switch off the gas and put it for 1 minute and then move it to a serving bowl..
Now the dish is ready to serve with hot steam rice.... Its good to with rice and also serve this with side dish with pappu charu (tur dal charu) rasam... And also serve with roti, chapati...
